One monsoon ...

Tell me where you drown it,
I will follow you,
Tell me when the sun will rise,
& I will miss you!

Tell me why the drops are dreary,
I will fetch my diamonds where,
Tell me where the shine is,
& I will never curse you!

Tell me where the warmth is,
Thy has left me running cold,
Tell me where the shade is,
& I will always embrace you!

Tell me where my bliss is,
As I have only one life,
Tell me where my soul is,
For thy will always come again.

With the roaring clouds my hope dies,
With the pelting rain my heart cries,
Why did you do this?
Only one year of rain,
Now a life with drought is vain!

Silence is beautiful ....

People chatting, shouting all around ; bikes, cars honking loudly ; hawkers selling vegetables and eatables ; Me walking down the narrow road, crossing all types of shops, making my way out of the crowd going their home. Somewhere on the first floor of the building, TV was playing some kannada songs. People bypassing me talking, singing in all different languages.

Songs, horns, noises, noises , horns, noises songs vehiles people volume crowd public song orn noise hornoisongshileseoplevolumrowdubliccccccccccccc............................................................

and then there was silence !

Yes ,Silence was talking. Two young boys communicating with each other with only signs !! .... As if I was completely deaf , I was only staring at them as I was walking behind. Weren't they conversing with each other ? Weren't they communicating their thoughts and feeling ? I could only smile at myself only smile ....

शेवाळ

This poem is written by one of my uncle, long before, I was even born. How simple yet so true perception .... Just wanted to save it somewhere :)

वाहून वाहून थकलेल्या
नदीचा प्रवाह आटतो तेव्हा ....
हळू हळू का होईना
ती वाहतच जाते ;

इतकेच पाण्यावर तिच्या
..... हिरवेगार शेवाळ साचते.
-का- s s कुणास ठाऊक
तहान शमाविणाऱ्या जीवास
ते हेच सांगत असते ;

Perplexed?

Sometimes we don’t know what we want in life ..

For e.g.
Today morning I got up at 8 Am , that is 20 mins early than my normal time. Didn’t have to cook lunch as we had to go for team lunch ( BTW my team is the Worstest and sucks in case of team lunches , we have the most quietest and boring lunches ) So I got ready and was at the bus stop by 9.10 Am that is 20 mins early than my normal time.

This is it, as if I was hypnotized, I was just standing at the bus stop, One after the other I left almost 7-8 Sarjapura buses ( Which drop me to office gate ). Yeah I know I was waiting for the AC Volvo but I was aware that it will not come until 9.35 Am atleast. I saw my fellow wiproites boarding the local buses , the low fare ones , and even some of them taking the auto rickshaw.

I didn’t know what to do ? To spend Rs. 50-60 in auto, to take the crowded state transport or to wait for the Volvo. I just didn’t know.

It was like my senses were on a short break, none of them responding. How will they , my brain was not commanding to them anything. So even though I got up early I ended up reaching office at the same time!

It is same with LIFE as well. Sometimes our senses don’t work and we don’t know what to do ! So many decisions to be taken but just exactly which one will take you to your goals either personal or professional we don’t know. The solution is sit back and relax , give it some time. Every puzzle will be solved and every move will be justified, we just have to control the wilderness of our thoughts. Everything will fall in place. Just wait and watch , time is THE solution. And you will say, this is what I wanted all my life !

Wait a sec, are you saying , you waited for something and you didn’t get it. :-) well its give and take, If one door is closed another will open soon … Just stay tuned.

Pale blue dot

Excerpted from a commencement address delivered May 11, 1996. Image from Voyager 1, 1990, voice by Carl Sagan.

"You ever heard of, every human being who ever lived, lived out their lives. The aggregate of all our joys and sufferings, thousands of confident religions, ideologies and economic doctrines, every hunter and forager, every hero and coward, every creator and destroyer of civilizations, every king and peasant, every young couple in love, every hopeful child, every mother and father, every inventor and explorer, every teacher of morals, every corrupt politician, every superstar, every supreme leader, every saint and sinner in the history of our species, lived there on a mote of dust, suspended in a sunbeam.
"The earth is a very small stage in a vast cosmic arena. Think of the rivers of blood spilled by all those generals and emperors so that in glory and in triumph they could become the momentary masters of a fraction of a dot. Think of the endless cruelties visited by the inhabitants of one corner of the dot on scarcely distinguishable inhabitants of some other corner of the dot. How frequent their misunderstandings, how eager they are to kill one another, how fervent their hatreds. Our posturings, our imagined self-importance, the delusion that we have some privileged position in the universe, are challenged by this point of pale light.
Our planet is a lonely speck in the great enveloping cosmic dark. In our obscurity -- in all this vastness -- there is no hint that help will come from elsewhere to save us from ourselves. It is up to us. It's been said that astronomy is a humbling, and I might add, a character-building experience. To my mind, there is perhaps no better demonstration of the folly of human conceits than this distant image of our tiny world. To me, it underscores our responsibility to deal more kindly and compassionately with one another and to preserve and cherish that pale blue dot, the only home we've ever known."
